An independent institute for cross-border financial information
ISF Institut Deutsch-Schweizer Finanzdienstleistungen GmbH is based in Frankfurt am Main. We publish plain-language, informational material on wealth management, investment advisory concepts, and the financial relationship between Germany and Switzerland.
Why a Deutsch-Schweizer institute
Families, professionals, and small business owners who live, work, or hold assets on both sides of the German-Swiss border regularly encounter questions that neither a purely German nor a purely Swiss resource fully answers. ISF Institut was formed to close that gap with clear, neutral, and well-researched informational content.
We are not a bank, a brokerage, or a licensed advisory firm. We do not manage assets, execute trades, or charge fees for the material we publish. Our contribution is context: helping readers ask better questions when they do sit down with a qualified, licensed advisor.
The principles behind our published content
Independence
We are not affiliated with any bank, fund, or product provider, and we do not accept payment to feature or favour any institution.
Clarity
Financial and regulatory topics are written in plain language, avoiding unnecessary jargon wherever possible.
Cross-border perspective
Every topic is considered from both the German and the Swiss side, reflecting how closely the two markets interact.
Diligence
Content is periodically reviewed against publicly available regulatory sources so it stays broadly current.
Three areas of editorial focus
Wealth Management Research
Tracks how succession planning, family governance, and long-term capital preservation are typically discussed in the DACH region.
Investment Advisory Research
Covers general concepts in portfolio construction, risk profiling, and how licensed advisors typically frame investment decisions.
Cross-Border Regulatory Research
Follows publicly available developments in German and Swiss financial regulation that affect cross-border households.
